Circle of Days, penned by Ken Follett, rolls out as an instant New York Times Bestseller, plunging readers into a historically rich narrative centered around the enigmatic origins of Stonehenge. At the heart of this story is Seft, a gifted flint miner, who navigates the challenging dynamics of his life on the Great Plain. Amid the scorching summer, he attends the Midsummer Fair with hopes of trading his flint and reuniting with Neen, his beloved, whose family's prosperity offers him a potential escape from his harsh familial conditions. Meanwhile, Joia, a visionary priestess and sister to Neen, dreams of uniting the disparate tribes of the Plain by building a monumental stone circle. Her ambitious dream captivates Seft, intertwining their fates and aspirations. As drought and distrust plague their community, escalating into conflict, Follett weaves a tale of love, ambition, and survival against the backdrop of one of history's monumental undertakings. Explore the depths of human spirit and resilience in Circle of Days, where Ken Follett brings his storytelling mastery to bear on the legend of Stonehenge, crafting a narrative as monumental as the stones themselves.
